Canal Network was launched in 19 September 1986 it was used by selected by every cable operator in the world. Atlantis Communications,Baton Broadcast System,and Canal Digital Cable got launched by its own communities. They sold the channel by Canwest Global Communications in 1996.Sale of Shaw Media to Corus Entertainment pending. 2CJBN is owned by Shaw Communications, but is operated by Shaw Media as a Global affiliate. 3Community television channels owned by Shaw Cable, not included in Corus deal.
